Security Engineer focused on Palo Alto Networks firewalls, responsible for configuration, monitoring, and incident response in a dynamic network environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls across enterprise environments.
- Configure security policies, VPNs, and threat prevention features to protect critical assets.
- Monitor traffic, analyze logs, and respond to security incidents using SIEM and threat intelligence feeds.
- Collaborate with DevOps and network teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
- Document security architecture, procedures, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls (PAN-OS, Panorama).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, VPNs, and threat detection mechanisms.
- Hands‑on scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation and log analysis.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and incident response frameworks.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
