About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain next‑generation firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure network architectures to protect critical assets.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events using SIEM platforms, conducting investigations and remediation.
- Perform risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and threat modeling for network infrastructure and cloud services.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
- Generate reports and metrics for senior leadership on security posture, incidents, and compliance status.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in network security engineering, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS technologies.
- Strong knowledge of GRC principles, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory standards (e.g., PCI‑DSS, NIST, ISO 27001).
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and incident response processes.
- Experience securing hybrid environments, including public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or GSEC are preferred.
