Security Engineer
Security Engineer responsible for protecting enterprise systems through threat analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response using SIEM tools and cloud security best practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM platforms, responding to incidents and coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls across on‑premises and cloud environments, including AWS.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to technical and non‑technical staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in security engineering, with hands‑on experience in network security, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and cloud security services (AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty).
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
