Security Engineer
Senior Security Engineer focused on protecting enterprise networks and cloud environments, driving threat detection, incident response, and security architecture across multi‑region deployments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls for enterprise voice, data, and mobile solutions across the UK, Germany, Spain, and Benelux.
- Lead vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and remediation efforts for on‑premise and cloud infrastructures.
- Develop and enforce security policies, IAM strategies, and compliance frameworks for public sector and large enterprise clients.
- Respond to security incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis, and coordinate cross‑functional remediation.
- Collaborate with product, network, and DevOps teams to embed security into the SDLC and automation pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise security engineering, with a strong background in network and cloud security.
- Proficiency with AWS security services, IAM, and security automation tools.
- Hands‑on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, AWS Security Specialty) preferred.
