Security Engineer
Security Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and automating corporate security controls across cloud environments, focusing on IAM, threat detection, and incident response using Python and cloud platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls for AWS and Google Cloud environments, emphasizing Identity and Access Management and least‑privilege principles.
- Develop and maintain automated security tooling and scripts in Python to detect, remediate, and report security incidents.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed security best practices into CI/CD pipelines and production workflows.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure for threats, conduct investigations, and lead incident response activities.
- Perform regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk analyses to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience securing cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and managing IAM solutions.
- Proficiency in Python for building security automation and integration scripts.
- Strong understanding of cloud security architecture, network segmentation, and threat modeling.
- Experience with security monitoring tools, SIEMs, and incident response processes.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑moving, AI‑driven environment.
