QA Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of automated security controls across cloud and on‑prem environments, leveraging Python, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform to embed security into every stage of the software lifecycle.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain security automation scripts and tools to detect, remediate, and prevent threats across cloud and on‑prem infrastructures.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous compliance and rapid feedback for development teams.
- Collaborate with security, operations, and development teams to define and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices.
- Utilize AWS services (e.g., GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config) and Terraform to provision and manage secure infrastructure as code.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement automated remediation workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering or related field, with a focus on automation.
- Proficiency in Python and scripting for security tooling.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS security services and Terraform for IaC.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience integrating security into pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
