About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement secure solutions across cloud, on‑prem, and hybrid environments for federal agencies.
- Define and enforce security controls, policies, and standards in alignment with NIST, FedRAMP, and DoD guidelines.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security architecture reviews to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security into the full software development lifecycle.
- Lead incident response planning, tabletop exercises, and post‑incident analysis to improve resilience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security architecture for large, complex federal or defense environments.
- Deep knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IAM best practices.
- Proficiency in network security, encryption, and secure design principles.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
