Site Reliability Engineer
Lead system risk analysis and ensure federal information systems meet Information Assurance and cybersecurity standards, driving resilience and mission assurance through technical assessment, control validation, and risk-based decision support.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive system risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and prioritize mitigation strategies.
- Validate security controls against federal Information Assurance frameworks and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain risk-based decision support tools to guide enterprise security initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security requirements into system design and deployment.
- Monitor and report on risk posture, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Proven experience in system risk engineering within a federal or regulated environment.
- Deep knowledge of Information Assurance standards (e.g., NIST SP 800‑53, FedRAMP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical findings into clear risk narratives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CRISC are a plus.
