Software Engineer
Lead a multidisciplinary engineering section, overseeing complex aircraft projects from concept to delivery while managing schedules, budgets, and cross‑functional teams using Agile and systems‑engineering practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the planning, execution, and delivery of aircraft engineering projects, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and specialists, fostering collaboration across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, tracking performance against milestones and implementing corrective actions when needed.
- Apply systems‑engineering principles and Agile methodologies to streamline development cycles and improve product quality.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of subsystems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in project engineering within the aerospace or high‑tech industry, with a proven track record of delivering complex programs.
- Strong expertise in systems engineering, risk management, and Agile project frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑million‑dollar budgets and lead cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision‑making skills.
