QA Engineer
Seeking a hands‑on SDET QA Engineer to design and maintain automated UI and API test suites for React applications, leveraging Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, and CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated UI test suites for React‑based web applications using Playwright.
- Design and implement API tests for RESTful services, ensuring comprehensive coverage and reliability.
- Build and evolve a modular test automation framework in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality feedback.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to define test strategies and resolve defects promptly.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional experience in test automation, preferably with Playwright or similar tools.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with React application architecture.
- Hands‑on experience testing REST APIs and working with HTTP clients.
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and cloud‑based test environments.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, version control (Git), and agile development practices.
