QA Engineer
Senior Software Development Engineer in Test focused on building robust automated test frameworks using Python, Java, and Selenium, integrating with CI/CD pipelines and ensuring cross‑platform quality through Agile collaboration.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks in Python and Java to validate application functionality across web, mobile, and API layers.
- Integrate test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and manage test data using Git for version control.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and QA teams to define test strategies, review requirements, and troubleshoot defects.
- Execute regression, performance, and security tests, analyze results, and report findings to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior testers, share best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an SDET or QA Engineer with strong automation background.
- Proficiency in Python and Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG or JUnit frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with Jenkins, Git, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) and performance testing is a plus.
