QA Engineer
Seeking an SDET Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and API applications, leveraging Selenium, Java/Python, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites for web UI and RESTful APIs using Selenium and related tools.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
- Implement and manage test environments using Docker containers and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Identify, document, and track defects; work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously improve test frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and overall test strategy to increase coverage and reliability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software test automation with strong proficiency in Java or Python.
- Hands‑on experience with Selenium WebDriver, API testing tools (e.g., RestAssured, Postman), and test frameworks (JUnit/TestNG, PyTest).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and practical experience configuring pipelines in Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud services (AWS) for test environment provisioning.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fully remote, collaborative setting.
