About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in sprint planning, define test strategies, and create detailed test plans for each development cycle.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web‑based applications using Selenium and for API endpoints using REST‑based frameworks.
- Track, analyze, and report test coverage and quality metrics to the manager and scrum master.
- Execute functional test cases, log defects, and collaborate with developers to triage and resolve issues.
- Continuously improve testing practices, incorporate AI‑assisted testing tools, and ensure integration with CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in software test automation for web and API applications.
- Proficiency in Python (or Java) and automation frameworks such as Selenium/WebDriver.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API testing, test‑case design, and defect‑tracking tools.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Ability to analyze metrics, report quality insights, and propose process improvements.
