About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Guide multiple development teams through Scrum and SAFe ceremonies, ensuring adherence to Agile best practices.
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Manage and maintain the product backlog, sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives using JIRA and Confluence.
- Identify and remove impediments, escalating issues as needed while maintaining compliance with Top Secret security protocols.
- Facilitate cross‑team coordination and communication within the National Capital Region and remote environments.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a government or defense setting with active Top Secret clearance.
- Deep knowledge of Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks.
- Strong proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and other Agile tooling.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally within the NCR and work effectively in both on‑site and remote settings.
