About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Scrum ceremonies and Agile processes for the Platform Independent Machinery Control System (PIMCS) framework, ensuring timely, high‑quality releases.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including developers, integrators, and system engineers—to maintain compliance with CMMI and government cybersecurity standards.
- Manage the end‑to‑end DevSecOps pipeline in GitLab, overseeing CI/CD, automated testing, and secure code practices.
- Facilitate risk identification, mitigation, and reporting for safety‑critical software components.
- Drive continuous improvement by tracking metrics, conducting retrospectives, and implementing process enhancements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in highly regulated, safety‑critical or defense‑related software projects.
- Strong understanding of CMMI, Systems Engineering principles, and cybersecurity constraints.
- Hands‑on expertise with GitLab for source control, CI/CD, and DevSecOps workflows.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills to align multiple integrators and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; relevant certifications (CSM, SAFe, CMMI) preferred.
