About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and evaluate secure system designs for defense‑grade platforms, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls, perform penetration testing, and remediate findings.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including architecture diagrams, threat models, and compliance reports.
- Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and regulatory changes to continuously improve security posture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in information security systems engineering or a related role.
- Proficiency in threat modeling frameworks (e.g., STRIDE, PASTA) and secure architecture design.
- Hands‑on experience with vulnerability assessment tools and penetration testing methodologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex security concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
