About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate digital twin models for bioprocess operations using Python and advanced machine learning techniques.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate process data, sensor streams, and simulation outputs into actionable insights.
- Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to forecast process performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Document model architecture, assumptions, and validation results for regulatory and internal review.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices in data science workflows.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field with strong quantitative background.
- 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics within bioprocessing or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Python, including libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit‑learn, and TensorFlow/PyTorch.
- Hands‑on experience with statistical modeling, time‑series analysis, and process simulation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
