About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and validate bioinformatics pipelines for next‑generation sequencing data generated in upstream process development.
- Apply statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to identify biomarkers and process parameters that influence product quality.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate computational insights into process optimization and scale‑up strategies.
- Develop and maintain reproducible, automated workflows using Python, R, and workflow management tools.
- Document methods, results, and best practices; present findings to scientific and engineering stakeholders.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field with 5+ years of industry experience.
- Proficiency in Python and R for data analysis and pipeline development.
- Strong background in next‑generation sequencing data processing and interpretation.
- Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and workflow automation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
