About the role
We are seeking a Scientist to join our team in bioinformatics. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing ATAC-seq data, annotating cell types, clustering samples, and performing differential expression analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bioinformatics and experience with the relevant tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze ATAC-seq data to identify cell-type specific regulatory elements
- Develop and implement clustering algorithms to group samples based on their biological characteristics
- Perform differential expression analysis to identify genes that are differentially expressed across samples
- Collaborate with the research team to design and implement bioinformatics pipelines
- Develop and maintain documentation of bioinformatics workflows and results
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field
- Strong background in bioinformatics and experience with ATAC-seq analysis
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience with clustering algorithms and differential expression analysis
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
