Scientific Data Analyst responsible for managing and analyzing quantitative epidemiological, clinical, and behavioral data using SAS, R, and SPSS to deliver actionable insights for a federal client.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct statistical analysis and interpretation of epidemiological, clinical, and behavioral datasets using SAS, R, and SPSS.
- Design and document variable definitions for survey questionnaires, including variable names, range labels, and default values.
- Generate reports, visualizations, and summaries tailored to stakeholder requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data integrity and compliance with federal standards.
- Maintain and update data dictionaries and metadata repositories.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SAS, R, and SPSS in a research or public health setting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Familiarity with epidemiological study designs and data collection methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for Public Trust clearance.
