Software Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and commissioning of SCADA systems for renewable energy projects across the U.S. and Canada, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring client satisfaction while meeting schedule and budget targets.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and oversee SCADA system deployments for wind, solar, and other renewable energy facilities.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including electrical engineers, control engineers, and field technicians—to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Develop system architecture, HMI screens, and PLC logic to meet client specifications and industry standards.
- Manage project documentation, risk assessments, and change orders while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing SCADA projects in the renewable energy sector.
- Proficiency with SCADA platforms (e.g., Ignition, Wonderware), PLC programming (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens), and HMI development.
- Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication and client‑facing abilities, with a focus on delivering high‑quality results.
