QA Engineer
Design, program, and support PLC, HMI, and SCADA solutions for hydraulic fracturing and oilfield automation, ensuring equipment performance, operational visibility, and reliable process control.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop PLC control logic and HMI interfaces based on process narratives and operational requirements.
- Implement, test, and commission SCADA applications that integrate field equipment with client systems.
- Collaborate with field personnel and clients to diagnose and resolve automation issues, performing on‑site troubleshooting and system upgrades.
- Optimize equipment performance and process reliability through data analysis, alarm management, and continuous improvement of control strategies.
- Maintain documentation, version control, and configuration management for all automation assets.
Requirements
- Proven experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and HMI development.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA platforms and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP).
- Hands‑on experience in oilfield or hydraulic fracturing automation environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex control systems and work effectively with field teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
