Embedded Systems Engineer
Design, configure, and maintain SCADA systems for a biofuel production facility, integrating PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks to ensure reliable real‑time monitoring and control of plant operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and commission SCADA solutions for biomass processing and fuel production lines.
- Develop and maintain PLC programs and HMI screens to support real‑time data acquisition and control.
- Integrate and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP) across the plant network.
- Monitor system performance, diagnose alarms, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with process engineers to optimize automation workflows and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SCADA platforms (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition, WinCC) and PLC programming.
- Strong knowledge of HMI development and industrial networking protocols.
- Hands‑on experience with Windows‑based control environments and system troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, production‑focused environment.
