Embedded Systems Engineer
Hands‑on SCADA Engineer responsible for designing, configuring, integrating and testing real‑time control system solutions, supporting delivery teams and ensuring operational readiness of network‑wide SCADA platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure and commission SCADA and HMI solutions for power network monitoring and control.
- Integrate PLCs, RTUs and communication protocols (IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3) into the overall control architecture.
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools (Python, Bash) to support testing, deployment and ongoing operations.
- Collaborate with Technical Leads and senior engineers to produce detailed design documentation and test plans.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting and performance tuning to ensure reliability and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SCADA platforms (e.g., IEC 61850‑based systems, WinCC, iFIX) and HMI development.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and industrial communication protocols.
- Hands‑on scripting ability, preferably Python, for automation and data handling.
- Experience working in Linux/Windows environments and using version‑control tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a delivery‑focused team.
