Lead the design and execution of end‑to‑end satellite operations, translating mission objectives into detailed CONOPS, ground‑station procedures, telemetry monitoring, and contingency plans using advanced systems engineering techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive CONOPS documents covering launch, operations, and end‑of‑life phases for satellite missions.
- Translate high‑level mission goals into actionable ground‑station procedures and workflow diagrams.
- Design and implement telemetry monitoring strategies, including data acquisition, processing, and anomaly detection.
- Create and maintain contingency plans for mission-critical events, ensuring rapid response and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (software, hardware, operations) to integrate system interactions and validate performance.
- Document all procedures, lessons learned, and best practices for future mission planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Systems Engineering (or related field).
- 3+ years of experience in satellite systems engineering or mission operations.
- Strong knowledge of CONOPS development, ground‑station architecture, and telemetry systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with safety‑critical systems and regulatory compliance is a plus.
