Systems Engineer
Lead the design, integration, and maintenance of hardware and software for a Satellite Control Center, ensuring real‑time performance, reliability, and seamless satellite operations using embedded systems and Linux-based platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test embedded hardware and firmware for satellite control systems.
- Implement real‑time software components on Linux/RTOS platforms, ensuring deterministic performance.
- Integrate and validate hardware–software interfaces, including communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, SpaceWire).
- Collaborate with mission operations, avionics, and ground‑segment teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Perform system-level testing, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis for hardware and software failures.
- Document design decisions, test procedures, and maintenance guidelines for long‑term support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in embedded systems development for aerospace or satellite applications.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python, with strong debugging and profiling skills.
- Hands‑on experience with Linux/RTOS, hardware design, and communication protocols.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities, teamwork, and clear technical communication.
