Data Engineer
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of SAP data pipelines, leveraging SAP HANA, SQL, and ETL tools to deliver high‑quality, scalable data solutions for enterprise analytics.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines within SAP HANA and related ecosystems.
- Implement robust ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
- Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to define data models and ensure data quality.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, applying best practices for scalability and reliability.
- Document data flows, architecture decisions, and maintain technical specifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a data engineer in an SAP environment, with strong knowledge of SAP HANA and SAP Data Services.
- Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with data modeling concepts.
- Hands‑on experience with ETL tools and scripting in Python or similar.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
