SAP BODS / Striim Data Engineer - Newleaf HR Solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BODS jobs, dataflows, and workflows to extract, transform, and load data across enterprise systems.
• Build and optimize real‑time and batch ingestion pipelines using Striim, including adapters, custom transformations, and stream processing.
• Analyze and troubleshoot data quality issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration errors across the data pipeline.
• Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models.
• Document data flows, transformation logic, and best practices for future maintenance and scalability.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering with strong proficiency in Striim and working knowledge of SAP BODS.
• Deep understanding of ETL concepts, data integration patterns, and real‑time data streaming.
• Hands‑on experience with data quality, performance tuning, and troubleshooting in distributed environments.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
