Engineering Manager
Lead SAP ABAP development on S/4 HANA, delivering RICEF components, CDS/AMDP models, and BTP RAP services while guiding migration and integration efforts for complex enterprise projects.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and lead implementation of RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) on the S/4 HANA platform.
- Architect and code CDS views, AMDP procedures, and BTP RAP services to meet functional and performance requirements.
- Drive data and transaction migration activities, including HANA‑based migrations and integration of legacy data.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure seamless end‑to‑end delivery.
- Mentor junior developers, enforce coding standards, and conduct peer reviews to maintain high‑quality code.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands‑on SAP ABAP development experience, with a strong focus on S/4 HANA projects.
- Proven expertise in CDS, AMDP, and BTP RAP frameworks, as well as OData and IDoc interfaces.
- Solid background in migration scenarios (data, transaction, HANA) and enhancement frameworks.
- Familiarity with UI5/Fiori, DMEE, and HANA modelling is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to lead technical teams in fast‑paced environments.
