Senior SAP ABAP Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ABAP applications within SAP environments, leveraging SAP HANA and related technologies to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP code for SAP modules, ensuring high quality and performance.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Implement and optimize SAP HANA solutions, including SQLScript and in-memory data models.
- Conduct unit and integration testing, troubleshoot defects, and provide post‑go‑live support.
- Participate in code reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, and knowledge sharing sessions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD) and integration points.
- Proficiency with SAP HANA, SQLScript, and performance tuning.
- Experience with SAP UI5/Fiori and web services (REST/OData) is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
