Sample Receiving Technician - Eurofins

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming environmental samples, verifying documentation and labeling accuracy.
• Log sample details into laboratory information systems, ensuring traceability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare samples for analysis by performing initial processing steps such as filtration, dilution, or preservation.
• Maintain inventory of sample storage areas, ensuring proper temperature and containment conditions.
• Assist in routine calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments, documenting all activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials and waste disposal.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in environmental science or related field preferred.
• Experience in a laboratory setting, preferably with environmental testing.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and laboratory software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
