Lead end‑to‑end release processes for a Salesforce SaaS platform, ensuring high‑quality, predictable deployments through robust CI/CD, source control, and stakeholder governance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain release plans, schedules, and governance frameworks for Salesforce releases.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps) to ensure seamless deployment pipelines.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, source control (Git), and automated testing for Salesforce components.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate release risks, ensuring compliance with security and compliance standards.
- Communicate release status, risks, and post‑release reviews to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in release management, preferably within Salesforce or SaaS environments.
- Proficient with Salesforce release tools (Change Sets, Salesforce DX, ANT, or similar) and CI/CD platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience with risk assessment, compliance, and audit processes in a regulated environment.
