Lead business analysis for a mission‑critical Salesforce implementation for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, driving requirements capture, process mapping, and solution design using Salesforce Public Sector Solutions and Agile practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with DHS stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements for the Salesforce Public Sector Solution.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, use cases, and process flows that guide configuration and development.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and user acceptance testing to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical deliverables.
- Act as a liaison between business users, technical teams, and project management to resolve gaps and prioritize enhancements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirement traceability matrices and solution design artifacts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst in a public‑sector or regulated environment.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, including case management, compliance, and security features.
- Proven ability to conduct requirements workshops, create detailed business process maps, and produce clear functional specifications.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in cross‑functional teams.
