About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for a diverse portfolio of chemicals, ensuring alignment with local and international regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including regulatory affairs, product development, and data science, to gather accurate chemical information and risk assessments.
- Utilize AI‑powered tools and data analytics to automate SDS generation, identify gaps, and improve data quality.
- Maintain a centralized SDS repository, ensuring version control, audit readiness, and timely distribution to stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to internal teams and external partners on SDS content, regulatory updates, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in SDS authoring or chemical safety documentation.
- Strong understanding of OSHA, GHS, REACH, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Python) and familiarity with AI/ML concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical data into clear, compliant documents.
