SaaS Operations Engineer responsible for building and maintaining a centralized platform that delivers reliable, scalable SaaS services. Leverages cloud, automation, and monitoring tools to ensure high availability, rapid incident response, and continuous improvement of the platform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate a centralized SaaS platform that supports multiple product lines.
- Automate deployment pipelines, configuration management, and scaling using CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
- Monitor system health, performance, and security; proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortem documentation to improve reliability.
- Collaborate with product, security, and support teams to define and enforce best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in SaaS platform operations or cloud infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Hands‑on experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in monitoring and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a customer‑centric mindset.
