Software Engineer
Support controls engineers by maintaining and troubleshooting FANUC robots and robotic welding equipment in a weld shop. Focus on preventive maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and safe operation to ensure efficient, reliable production.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on FANUC robots and robotic welding systems to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues in robotic equipment, ensuring rapid restoration of production.
- Collaborate with controls engineers to implement process improvements and safety protocols.
- Document maintenance activities, generate reports, and maintain accurate equipment logs.
- Assist in the setup and calibration of new robotic installations and welding stations.
Requirements
- Experience with FANUC robotic systems and robotic welding equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and maintenance manuals.
- Commitment to safety standards and best practices in a production environment.
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
