Research Engineer
Robotics Research Engineer who designs and delivers hands‑on robotics curricula, builds prototype platforms, and integrates AI and embedded technologies to inspire K‑12 students in STEM learning.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and test educational robotics kits and platforms for classroom use.
- Develop and deliver engaging robotics, electronics, and AI lesson plans in K‑12 schools.
- Implement software solutions using Python, C++, and ROS to control hardware and demonstrate core concepts.
- Integrate sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi) into curriculum projects.
- Collaborate with educators to align content with standards and assess student learning outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and ROS for robot programming and simulation.
- Hands‑on experience with embedded platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and sensor integration.
- Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals applied to robotics education.
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for teaching technical concepts to diverse student audiences.
