Perform on‑site installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced robotic systems, leveraging ROS, Python scripting, PLC programming, and strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills to ensure optimal performance in industrial environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and calibrate autonomous robotic platforms at customer facilities.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, diagnose, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues in the field.
- Develop and modify ROS‑based software scripts and Python utilities to improve robot performance and troubleshoot faults.
- Program, test, and troubleshoot PLC controllers and integrate them with robot control systems.
- Provide technical training and documentation for customers and internal teams.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with industrial robotics or advanced automation equipment.
- Proficiency in ROS, Python scripting, and PLC programming (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens).
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, motor drives, sensors, and mechanical assemblies.
- Ability to travel frequently and work independently in diverse industrial settings.
- Excellent problem‑solving communication skills and a safety‑first mindset.
