Lead the design, implementation, and tuning of high‑bandwidth control loops and state estimation for an autonomous counter‑sUAS platform, driving rapid, accurate drone detection and engagement using advanced robotics and AI technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the control systems and motion engineering for the EDDA counter‑sUAS platform, ensuring precise, high‑bandwidth control loops.
- Design, implement, and tune state estimation algorithms to track and engage fast, small drone threats.
- Collaborate with AI and sensor teams to integrate perception data into real‑time control decisions.
- Lead performance testing, validation, and iterative optimization of the control architecture.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in robotics software development.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in robotics control systems, motion planning, and state estimation.
- Proficiency with real‑time embedded systems and high‑bandwidth control loops.
- Strong background in UAV or counter‑sUAS technologies and AI integration.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a track record of delivering robust, high‑performance robotic solutions.
