Robotics Engineer
Robotics Engineer responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining robotic systems in a large-scale foundry environment, leveraging PLCs, CAD, and simulation tools to optimize production and ensure safety.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and troubleshoot robotic and automated control systems using PLCs and industrial software.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to integrate robotics into existing manufacturing processes.
- Develop and maintain CAD models and simulation scenarios to validate robot paths and payloads.
- Implement safety protocols and conduct risk assessments for robotic work cells.
- Analyze performance data, recommend improvements, and document changes in engineering records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial robotics programming and maintenance.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex control issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
