Implementation Engineer
Design, develop, and integrate robotic automation for SLA and SLS 3D printing platforms, combining mechanical design, control software, and system testing to accelerate high‑precision manufacturing workflows.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robotic workcells for SLA and SLS 3D printers, including end‑effector tooling and material handling.
- Develop control software and scripts (Python, ROS) to coordinate motion, sensor feedback, and printer interfaces.
- Integrate mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems, ensuring reliable operation and safety compliance.
- Perform system validation, debugging, and performance optimization through iterative testing and data analysis.
- Collaborate with product, mechanical, and firmware teams to translate manufacturing requirements into automated solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Hands‑on experience designing and integrating robotic systems for additive manufacturing or similar high‑precision equipment.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ROS or other robot control frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of SLA and SLS 3D printing processes, material handling, and mechanical design (CAD).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work cross‑functionally, and a passion for advancing fabrication technology.
