Software Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end robot learning pipelines, from synthetic data generation in Isaac Lab/Mimic to deploying fine‑tuned VLA models and custom vision encoders, driving real‑world performance through advanced domain randomization and Cosmos‑powered visual realism.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain synthetic data pipelines in Isaac Lab and Isaac Mimic, including scene creation, asset management, and demonstration generation.
- Integrate Cosmos or similar world‑foundation‑model tooling to enhance visual realism and reduce the sim‑to‑real gap.
- Develop and tune co‑training pipelines that blend real demonstrations with synthetic data for robust policy learning.
- Engineer and fine‑tune VLA models, custom vision encoders, and diffusion/flow‑matching action heads to optimize robot control performance.
- Apply advanced domain randomization techniques to improve generalization across varied environments.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with robotics simulation frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with Isaac Lab, Isaac Mimic, and synthetic data pipeline development.
- Proficiency in vision encoder design, diffusion models, and flow‑matching action heads.
- Knowledge of Cosmos or similar world‑foundation‑model tools for visual realism.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with research, software, and hardware teams to deliver production‑ready robot learning solutions.
