Implementation Engineer
Lead the transition of new Renewable Natural Gas sites while designing and deploying AI solutions to optimize operations, using Python, AWS, and machine learning techniques within a power generation environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the technical transition of new RNG sites, ensuring seamless integration with existing power generation infrastructure.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models to predict equipment performance, optimize fuel blending, and reduce emissions.
- Build and maintain data pipelines on AWS, ingesting real‑time sensor data, performing ETL, and storing results in scalable data lakes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (operations, engineering, data science) to define requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Monitor model performance, troubleshoot issues, and iterate on algorithms to improve accuracy and reliability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Python development and data engineering.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, SageMaker, Lambda).
- Strong background in machine learning, including model training, validation, and deployment.
- Knowledge of power generation processes and RNG technology is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
