About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze credit risk exposures across commodity trading and production portfolios, providing actionable insights to risk and commercial stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and dashboards using SQL, Python, and Tableau to monitor risk metrics in real time.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement automation solutions that streamline credit approval and monitoring processes.
- Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis to assess the impact of market movements on credit risk.
- Document risk methodologies, ensure data quality, and support continuous improvement of credit risk frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in credit risk analysis, preferably within commodity trading or energy markets.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Experience building visual analytics dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and automating workflows.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
