General Summary:
The candidate will work as part of a close-knit team on the system design, implementation and verification of RF transceiver products and platforms for advanced wireless technologies.
The candidate will be involved in all aspects of the RF product development, including architecture, specification, simulation, design verification and testing, and production release, collaborating closely with IC design, modem, and software teams.
Job duties include:
- Developing signal processing techniques to receive and transmit wireless signals
- Conducting analysis and simulations (MATLAB, ADS, or similar) to study system architecture and performance under various conditions
- Developing system-level specifications for RF circuits and systems
- Working closely with IC designers and software developers to ensure implementations meet system requirements
Skills / Experience
- 3+ years of experience in the design and development of RF products and systems
- Expertise in communication theory, signal processing, probability, and random processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MATLAB programming
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with wireless systems and industry standards such as WLAN, Bluetooth, UWB, and cellular technologies (4G/5G) is highly desirable
- Experience with wireless system architecture, performance analysis, and RF impairments is highly desirable
- Experience developing products through production release and manufacturing ramp-up

Education
- M.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
