Lead the design and modeling of RF modem systems, driving feature development and requirements definition using advanced EM simulation and MATLAB tools to deliver cutting‑edge wireless performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate RF modem system models, ensuring alignment with product specifications and performance targets.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define feature requirements and translate them into accurate simulation models.
- Utilize EM simulation tools and MATLAB to analyze and optimize RF performance, including link budget, interference, and power consumption.
- Iterate designs based on test results, providing actionable insights to hardware and firmware teams.
- Document modeling methodologies, assumptions, and validation procedures for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in RF system modeling and simulation for modem or wireless communication products.
- Strong proficiency with EM simulation tools (e.g., CST, HFSS) and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex RF issues.
- Effective communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences.
