Embedded Systems Engineer
Design and develop high‑performance RF hardware for defense systems, applying expertise in antenna design, signal processing, and low‑level firmware while adhering to strict security requirements.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and validate RF hardware components, including amplifiers, mixers, and antenna subsystems, for mission‑critical defense applications.
- Develop and execute test plans using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and custom test rigs to ensure compliance with performance specifications.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate RF hardware with firmware, software, and system architecture, delivering end‑to‑end solutions.
- Perform signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility analyses, leveraging tools such as MATLAB and simulation software.
- Maintain detailed documentation, configuration control, and traceability in accordance with security and defense standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of hands‑on RF hardware experience.
- Proficiency in RF circuit design, antenna theory, and high‑frequency measurement techniques.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and MATLAB for modeling, simulation, and firmware development.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a required security clearance.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.
