RF Hardware Engineer - Multi Radio Coexistence - Apple
Embedded Systems Engineer
Design and optimize RF hardware to ensure seamless multi‑radio coexistence across cellular, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, UWB, and NFC, driving system‑level performance and reliability for next‑generation consumer devices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and improve platform‑level multi‑radio coexistence performance across diverse wireless technologies.
- Develop and execute test plans, measurement setups, and analysis methods to quantify interference and isolation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (antenna, digital, firmware) to define hardware specifications and mitigation strategies.
- Design and validate RF front‑end architectures, including filters, switches, and antenna layouts, to meet coexistence targets.
- Provide root‑cause analysis for coexistence issues and implement hardware and layout solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field with hands‑on experience in RF hardware design.
- Strong knowledge of multi‑radio coexistence principles and wireless protocols such as Cellular, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, UWB, and NFC.
- Proficiency in signal integrity analysis, antenna design, and RF measurement equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer).
- Experience with lab testing, data analysis, and troubleshooting of RF interference issues.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
