RF Hardware Developer ULF/VLF - Syntronic
Software Engineer
RF Hardware Developer focused on ULF/VLF systems, responsible for designing, simulating, and validating RF front‑ends, PCBs, and signal integrity solutions using advanced EM tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop RF front‑end circuits for ULF/VLF applications, ensuring performance targets for bandwidth, noise figure, and linearity.
- Create and validate PCB layouts, applying signal integrity best practices and mitigating EMI/EMC issues.
- Perform EM and RF simulations using tools such as ADS, HFSS, or CST to predict and optimize device behavior.
- Collaborate with firmware and system teams to integrate RF modules into larger product architectures.
- Lead prototype build, test, and troubleshooting, documenting results and refining designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience designing RF hardware for ULF/VLF or similar low‑frequency bands.
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad) and EM simulation suites (ADS, HFSS, CST).
- Strong understanding of signal integrity, impedance matching, and EMI/EMC mitigation.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
