Revenue Accounting Data Analyst

Role Overview

This role is accountable for data validation, analysis, and reconciliation of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Deferred Revenue within a complex, data-driven environment. The consultant will use Databricks, SQL, and BI tools to ensure reliability of revenue data flowing from multiple platforms (Salesforce, Stripe, Oracle FAH). The role also supports audit readiness and financial disclosures for SaaS and consumption-based revenue streams.

What You Will Do

Reconcile contracted revenue (Salesforce) with actual billings and receipts (Stripe). Validate and analyze data in Databricks that brings these sources together for financial reporting and ASC 606 compliance. Write SQL queries in Databricks to join Salesforce objects with Stripe transactions to verify: Customer IDs match. Usage data aligns with billing events. Deferred vs. recognized revenue is accurate.

Requirements

• Advanced Databricks platform experience
• SQL skills for data mining and reconciliation
• Knowledge of BI tools for data validation and visualization
• Experience with Salesforce is strongly preferred
• ERP Oracle FAH/AR and Stripe data integrations is a plus
• Solid understanding of SaaS and consumption-based revenue and related accounting processes is needed
